NETWORK RAIL PRINCIPLES FAIR CULTURE INFORMATION

Further to Head Office Circular NP/308/20 a response has been received from Network Rail and that response has been placed in front of the National Executive Committee. Although the company has provided some useful information on developments they have completely failed to address our principle concerns and have not agreed to a high level review.

The response was considered by the National Executive Committee who have noted and adopted the following report:

We note the correspondence from the company dated 21st December 2021, This union is opposed to any attempt Network Rail to make changes to this agreement. We do not feel in anyway does this go anyway to fulfilling RAIB Recommendation 6. We instruct the General Secretary to write to Network Rail with our concerns and to ensure reps do not engage with Network Rail Work Shops or meetings on this issue.

Relevant Reps, Regional Councils & Branches to be advised.

I am acting in accordance with these instructions and will keep you advised of developments.
