NETWORK RAIL: WORK INSTRUCTION – MANAGEMENT OF RUNAWAY RISK STANDARD

FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL NETWORK RAIL EMPLOYEES

Following the submission of RMT’s comments on the reviewed Module 5 - Management of Runaway Risk within ES Worksites Standard, the company has agreed to hold a review with RMT to see how these points can be resolved and update the Union with a revised version of the module when the work has occurred.

Your National Executive Committee (NEC), at its meeting on 12th May, noted and adopted the following report from its Health and Safety Sub-committee:

We note the response on file from the Company.

The General Secretary is instructed to consider the revised version of the module once the work has been undertaken and place any further update before this NEC.

The General Secretary is further instructed to convey our sincere appreciation for the vigilance and efforts of our Brother Chris Adair in this matter.
