NEXUS (TYNE AND WEAR METRO) – REVISED DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY

Following on from negotiations with RMT and its representatives a revised drug and alcohol policy has been produced by Nexus (Tyne and Wear Metro). The policy has now been consulted with RMT and our comments taken into consideration.

The revised policy was referred to the National Executive Committee who at their meeting of 31st July 2020 noted and adopted the following report of their Health and Safety Sub-committee:

We note the Regional Organiser’s report and the revised Alcohol and Drug Policy. The General Secretary is instructed to write to the company agreeing this revised document on behalf of the RMT.

Branches and Regional Councils to be advised.

Nexus (Tyne and Wear Metro) members to be advised via email.
