RICF VACCINATION POSTERS AND Q&A

Further to Head Office Circular NP/70/21, dated 1st March 2021 your National Executive Committee met on 24th June 2021 to consider a report from its RICF Sub-committee. This followed a proposal from the RICF for new posters to encourage staff to receive vaccinations and also to undertake home testing. At its meeting of 24th June, the NEC noted and adopted the following report of its RICF Sub-committee:

We note the posters from the RICF, and that RMT has previously supported its position on vaccinations.

The General Secretary is instructed to write to the RICF seeking confirmation that staff who test positive and have to stay at home will not suffer any financial or other detriment for doing so, before agreeing to RMT’s logo being appended to the testing poster.

Branches and Regional Councils to be informed.

Please bring the contents of this circular to the attention of relevant members.
