RMT STRESS MOT

Please find attached the newly launched RMT Stress MOT. (Alternatively, click here for the online version) The survey relies upon as many people completing it as possible in order for RMT to gauge what the real situation is regarding stress in the workplace. Repeatedly in surveys, the issue of stress is a high-ranking factor in work-related illnesses and problems. RMT wishes to collate evidence from members to present a robust case back to the industries we work in. RMT will also formulate its future work on stress based on the results of the survey.

This year’s RMT Health and Safety Advisory Conference used the theme of stress to highlight the issue and invited experts from unions and industry as well as academics to present their work.  As is the norm now, we held training courses on the day before and day after conference on the subject of stress. All the speakers’ presentations as well as the training session presentation will shortly be available to download on the RMT website.
