ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION OF RULEBOOK MODULES & SUITABLE ELECTRONIC SCREEN SIZES
Gloucester Branch submitted two resolutions to the National Executive Committee both related to the new facility created by RSSB that allows railway workers to access the Railway Rulebook electronically.
The first resolution raised concerns over compliance with the Rulebook when transmitted electronically, transmission problems and unreliable software. The second resolution raised concerns that operators will expect users to access the Rulebook on mobile phones and not tablets.
The National Executive Committee have noted and adopted the following reports from their Health and Safety Sub-committee:
We note and support the sentiments of the resolution from Gloucester Branch. The General Secretary is instructed to take the matter up with the Train Operating Companies in line with the resolution. General Secretary is further instructed o share these concerns with TOM Standards Committee.
And:

The General Secretary is further instructed to merge this file with “Electronic Transmission of Rule Book Modules.
