SECURITY OF STAFF EMPTYING TICKET VENDING MACHINES
Further to a resolution to this year’s AGM on the above issue, the GGC adopted the following report from the Health and Safety Sub-committee:
“We note and support the sentiments of this resolution and instruct the General Secretary to take up these issues with the TOCs. We further note there are also manual handling consideration in handling large amounts of coins and the General Secretary is also instructed to raise this further concern with the TOCs.
Branches and Regional Councils to be informed.”
I am currently acting in accordance with the instructions and will update you on progress with this issue.
