TOC WORKING INSTRUCTIONS COVID 19 CONTINGENCY PLAN: SAFE WORKING PRACTICES

RMT has been developing Covid-19 Safe Work Principles for TOCs proposal for the Rail Industry Coronavirus Advisory Committee.

At its meeting on 18th February2021, our NEC noted adopted the following report of its Health and Safety Sub Committee:

We note the draft Safe Working Principles for TOCs and that this document has been consulted with the Regional Organisers and their comments have been incorporated into the Guidance.

The General Secretary is instructed to table this matter for discussion at the next meeting of RICF. A report on any discussions at RICF is to be placed in front of this NEC.

In its decision, the NEC added that:

Further, the General Secretary is instructed to arrange a meeting of all TOC Lead Health and Safety Reps and the NEC to discuss this matter going forward.
