TRANSPENNINE EXPRESS (TPE) – BODY WORN CAMERA USAGE POLICY 

 

Following receipt of a report on the draft policy from the lead officer, recommendation its acceptance from him and both lead health & safety representatives, at its meeting on 4^th November 2025, your National Executive Committee noted and adopted the following report from its health and safety subcommittee:

 

We note the report on file from our lead officer, and the reference to BWCs not to be used as a means to enable an increase in lone working.

 

The General Secretary is instructed to act in line with the recommendation of the lead officer and lead union health and safety representatives and advise TransPennine Trains Ltd of this union’s acceptance of the company’s draft policy on the use of Body Worn Camera data sharing.

 

Branches and regional councils to be informed.
