VIOLENCE AT WORK:
TfL WORK-RELATED VIOLENCE AND AGGRESSION STRATEGY

Further to my circular NP/053/19 of 20th March 2019, you will recall that we raised with the Mayor of London and London Underground our concerns over the rising levels of violence faced by our members on the network, and sought assurances that measures would be put in place to protect LUL staff.

Following discussions, TfL have now produced a draft Work-Related Violence and Aggression Strategy, which is enclosed.

Following further consideration by your National Executive, I am putting in place arrangements for an urgent meeting of Stations and Trains Tier 2 Safety Council Reps with the Senior Assistant General Secretary, your lead officer and NEC members, and I will update you further in due course.

Please bring the contents of this circular to the attention of your members.
