This Code of Conduct for the Merchant Navy sets out disciplinary rules and procedures which apply when seafarers are employed to work onboard ship. It has been agreed between the RMT, Nautilus International and the UK Chamber of Shipping and approved by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency.
