EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNAL PROCESS & CONCILIATION GUIDANCE IN PROCEDURE FOR REGIONS, REPS  & MEMBERS

 

I am pleased to advise that the long-awaited conciliation booklet has been printed and sent out to the Regions. It is important that all Regional Officers, Regional Staff, Reps and Branches read the booklet. The booklet is also being sent to the Education Centre where it will form part of the educational courses for Reps. 

 

Should there be any future developments with conciliation and procedure the booklet will be updated by the Legal Department.

 

In addition, new L2 forms have been sent to the Regions and is downloadable from the website from today. All old forms must be destroyed. They will not be accepted by the Legal Department and will be returned. This is to take into account the changes with procedure with regards conciliation so it is important that the old forms are not used. The new forms have the words “amended June 2014” in the top right corner.
