Stena Line – Smart Pension Contributions
Following concerns raised by our workplace representatives at Stena Line we were advised that member’s pension contributions had not been paid into employer’s occupational pension arrangement with Smart Pension.
I can advise that management have confirmed that the pending contribution payments have been paid to the pension provider but have not been processed so that appear on employee’s online pension accounts.
As you will be aware this is not the first time that this has occurred and in the first instance, we will be seeking that any pending contribution payments have been made to the pensions provider. We will also be establishing why this error has occurred again and report back to members in due course with an update.
