A People’s CalMac – Day of Action 25 March

I am writing to encourage maritime members in Scotland and beyond to attend a Day of Action to support our positive campaign to defend workers’ rights and terms and conditions at CalMac Ferries.

RMT members are asked to attend a Day of Action for a People’s CalMac, on:

Friday 25th March from 11.00am – Oban Ferry Terminal, Alma Crescent, Oban PA34 4LE

This will be the first opportunity since the lifting of Covid restrictions to promote your Union’s positive plan to put jobs and training at the heart of CalMac’s services. All maritime members and activists in Scotland are strongly encouraged to attend the Day of Action for a People’s CalMac.

I would be grateful if you could bring the content of this circular to the attention of all members in your Branch and you will be kept updated with further developments.
