Cost of living crisis and justice for P&O workers – demonstrations 2^nd April 2022

 

As inflation continues to rise, energy prices soar and wages are held down the cost of living crisis escalates. Big companies are continuing to rake in profits while piling misery onto working people as consumers and workers. The disgraceful illegal sacking of our members at P&O Ferries by the multinational logistics firm DP World is part of that attack. 

 

The People’s Assembly has been organising protests against the rising cost of living and is also highlighting the actions of P&O as part of its next wave of actions. I would urge all members and branches to support these protests and help build this wave of collective action.
