DO NOT MISS THESE SPECIAL EVENTS

Join RMT members, as well as friends and family, at these great social and commemorative events this year. The Durham Miners' Gala, the Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival and the Burston Strike School Rally are all chances to celebrate RMT and other unions' history and recommit to preserving and extending our legacy:

The 134th Durham Miners’ Gala will be held on Saturday 14th July 2018.
Marching from the Market Place to the Racecourse, with the Big Meeting taking place at the Racecourse from 12:15 - including speeches from a number of key speakers one of whom will be the legendary Dennis Skinner MP. http://www.durhamminers.org/gala

Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival - in Dorset over the weekend of Friday 20th-Sunday 22nd July. Includes commemorative events, music (including marching bands), kids' activities and speakers - with the main march and rally taking place on the Sunday. http://www.tolpuddlemartyrs.org.uk/festival

Burston Strike School Rally - in Norfolk on Sunday 2nd September
