Dear Colleague,
ILO Convention on Gender Based Violence at Work
Katy Clark MP who belongs to the RMT Parliamentary Group has tabled an Early Day Motion calling on the Government to take action on the UN Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (25th November) by supporting the creation of a new ILO Convention specifically on gender based violence at work and requesting that this is on the agenda of the next meeting of the ILO Governing Body.
We ask that all members lobby their MP to sign this EDM via this link: http://www.rmt.org.uk/letter/ilo-convention-on-gender-based-violence-at-work/
A sheet of stickers and a calendar are also enclosed to highlight this campaign.
Do contact our Equal Opportunities Officer, Jess Webb (j.webb@rmt.org.uk) if you have any queries.
Yours,
Mick Cash
