ILO Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) – MCA Tri-partite Working Group

 

Further to Circular No.004 of 11^th January 2023, please find attached the final copy of the minutes from the previous meeting of the TWG which was held on 5^th May 2023. The MCA provided these minutes on 21^st August. Backdated minutes from these meetings are available on request to the National Policy Department. 

 

Unfortunately, due to various factors, the meeting with the National Secretary, Assistant National Secretary and the Maritime sub-committee has not taken place. I will ensure that this takes place in the near future and report back to your NEC.

 

I would be grateful if you could bring the content of this circular to the attention of all Shipping Branch members. You will be kept advised of all further developments.
