KEEP TICKET OFFICES OPEN CAMPAIGN DAYS OF ACTION – 9^TH AND 16^TH AUGUST

 

Please note that these are campaign days of action, focused on distributing postcards to passengers and drawing attention to the campaign, and not any form of industrial action. 

 

Further to my message on Wednesday 26^th July, which advised that the public consultations on ticket office closure proposals have now been extended until 1^st September, I am writing to advise that we have called two more days of campaign action on Wednesday 9^th and Wednesday 16^th August 2023.

 

As with the previous days of action, we are asking RMT branches, reps and members to mobilise around these dates and hold campaign actions at stations around the country. 

 

New campaign materials are being printed, and requests for materials should be sent to saveourticketoffices@rmt.org.uk. Materials will also be available from regional offices. 

 

Please send locations and times for actions to saveourticketoffices@rmt.org.uk so they can be posted on the website.
