Labour Party Conference Brighton 2019 – RMT Fringe events

The union has organised two fringe events for this year’s Labour Party Conference in Brighton, covering rail and maritime.

Sunday 22 September, 12.30-14.30
Publicly Owned Railways and Meeting the Climate Emergency Challenge
Fecam Room, Old Ship Hotel, King's Road, Brighton BN1 1NR

A buffet will be provided at this free event. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

The second RMT fringe covers maritime, including the offshore energy industries:

Seas of Shame – Exposing super-exploitation in the offshore wind, energy & maritime sectors

Attendance at both fringe meetings is encouraged. Meeting the costs of attendance is a legitimate form of Branch expenditure.

RMT is also supporting the following fringe event on the bus industry but we have not organised it. Please note that this event takes place within the ‘secure zone’ of the conference and you will require a delegate or one-day pass to attend:
