LGBT+ PRIDE EVENTS 2022 UPDATE

 

LGBT+ Pride events are opportunities for us to promote the union and our campaigns as well as to show support and solidarity for our LGBT+ members and the wider community.  RMT will be looking to have a presence at the following events and I encourage all members to get involved and join in with their friends and family.  

 

UK Black Pride, Sunday 14 August, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Hopkins Field, E15 2HB: If any member wishes to help staff the RMT stall during the event which starts at noon and will run to 5pm, please do contact Chris Frederick cfrederick7@icloud.com.

 

Southampton Pride, Saturday 27^th August 2022, Guildhall, Southampton, from 11am: Please do contact Mark Carter dorsetrail@rmt.org.uk

 

Manchester Pride, Saturday 27^th August 2022: March starts at noon from Deansgate/Liverpool Road junction. Please do contact Clayton Clive, Branch Secretary of Manchester South to say if you wish to join in as numbers have a limited number of places manchestersouth@rmt.org.uk

 

Birmingham Pride, 24 September: Contact Steve Moule, Vice-Chair of our LGBT+ Advisory Committee (steviebear66@gmail.com)
