National March for Palestine – Saturday 19^th July 2025 – Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival Fringe Meeting

 

RMT, alongside other trade unions have been consistent in condemning the atrocious violence, calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and for a lasting peace in both Israel and Palestine and we have always been conscious that we will have members who may have been personally impacted by the horrific ongoing situation in the region. 

 

RMT is dismayed that the siege and bombardment of Gaza continues, and with famine now breaking out across the Gaza strip, it is more important than ever that we keep up the pressure with protests and campaigns happening across the UK demanding an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

 

On Saturday 19^th July Palestine Solidarity Campaign have once again called a National Demonstration in London which will begin to assemble at 12:00pm noon at Embankment Tube with the Trade Union Bloc meeting at Cleopatra’s Needle on Embankment at 12:00pm

 

Please make every effort to attend and bring your RMT flags and banners.

Also on Saturday 19^th July is the fantastic Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival where Palestine Solidarity Campaign will be holding an important fringe meeting with speakers including myself, PCS General Secretary Fran Heathcote and British Palestinian Activist Jameela Musleh.
