National March for Palestine - Saturday 8^th June

 

Join the Palestine Solidarity Campaign on Saturday 8^th June for another National March for Palestine to protest the continued violence, bombardment and siege in Gaza. 

 

The National March will begin to assemble at 12:30pm noon at Russell Square before Marching to Whitehall for a rally.

 

RMT, alongside other trade unions have been consistent in condemning the atrocious violence, calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and for a lasting peace in both Israel and Palestine and we have always been conscious that we will have members who may have been personally impacted by the horrific ongoing situation in the region. 

 

RMT is dismayed that violence and the bombardment and siege of Gaza continues and with Israel now launching an assault on Rafah it is now more important than ever that we keep up the pressure with protests and campaigning happening across the UK demanding an immediate and permanent ceasefire.

 

Trade Union bloc

 

There will be a Trade Union Bloc on the National March for Palestine that will begin forming up from 12:00pm, Russell Square, Corner of Bedford Place, WC1B 4HP.Please bring flags and banners.

 

Branch Affiliation
