Dear Colleagues,

National ‘Oppose Driver Only Operation’ event Wednesday 25th April.

All rail members are being urged to attend a national rally in London at 11.30 am at Old Palace Yard, London, SW1P 3JY opposite the Palace of Westminster (in front of the George V statue).

After this protest we will move into the House of Parliament for a meeting with a number of guest speakers. Further details will be circulated and posted on the website as they become available.

This important rally coincides with the 2nd anniversary of the start of national DOO strike action against DOO. Since then members in six companies have taken action in opposition to this privatised rail assault on jobs, safety, security and accessibility.
It is an opportunity for everyone to come together and show the strength of our determination to fight on.

This is legitimate expenditure from Branch funds and all branches are asked to notify their Regional office how many will be attending and plan to mobilise accordingly.
