Nationalise our Railway - Fare rises protest – Action for Rail Day of Action: Tuesday 19th August

On Tuesday 19th August the Office for National Statistics will release the latest inflation figures. The rate of RPI inflation announced on that day will be used by the government to calculate fare rises for 2015.
 
This announcement attracts extensive media interest and is the biggest annual opportunity for us to present our alternative vision of a publicly-owned railway - namely, an expanding and efficient service that is affordable, safe and unencumbered by parasitic corporations.
