Dear Colleagues,

 

A mass rally and demonstration at the Tory party conference in Manchester will take place on 4th October 2015 from 12.00 noon.

RMT members from all over the country are encouraged to join this TUC organised event.

Cuts to welfare and essential public services, alongside a massive attack on trade union rights, is a direct assault on every one of us and must be resisted.

Please do everything you can to build mass support for this demonstration and share the details with colleagues, family and friends. This is a legitimate use of Branch expenditure.

Please bring this circular to member’s attention and make every effort to encourage attendance on the day. We need to show the Government how strongly we value our trade union rights and that we are prepared to fight their proposals.
