PETERLOO MARCH FOR DEMOCRACY – SUNDAY 18 AUGUST 2019

The RMT will be supporting the Peterloo Bi-Centenary March and Rally in Manchester on Sunday 18 August 2019. This is a family friendly event that commemorates the lives of those who were killed and injured in 1819 and recommits to their fight for democratic reform in Britain in 2019 and beyond.

The RMT assembly point is at Whitworth Park, Oxford Road, Manchester M14 4PW. Assemble at 11.30am for 12.00 noon march. Rally and entertainment with celebrity appearances at Albert Square, central Manchester from 13.00. The event ends at 4pm.

All RMT members, friends and family are welcome to join in with branch banners and flags.
