Dear Colleague,

 

PRIDE EVENTS 2024 

 

LGBT+ Pride events are opportunities for us to promote the union and our campaigns as well as to show support and solidarity for our LGBT+ members and the wider community.  RMT will be looking to have a presence at the following events and I encourage all members to get involved and join in with their friends and family.  

 

Birmingham Pride, Saturday 26^th May 2024: take part in the trade union block of the march, meet 11.30am Centenary Square. Contact: steviebear66@gmail.com

 

London Pride, Saturday 29^th June 2024: please book your space in the march as wristbands are required. Contact:laurencecoles@live.co.uk    

 

Northern Pride, Saturday 20^th July 2024: there is brunch on offer prior to taking part in the march: Contact: Mark Beresford Bedlington@rmt.org.uk

 

Black Pride, Sunday 11^th August 2024: the union will have a stall at the event which is in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford. Volunteers are sought to staff the stall during the day. Contact: j.webb@rmt.org.uk
