Dear Colleagues,

RMT/ Action for Rail – Keep East Coast public - Day of action – 7 March
and protest at Liberal Democrat Spring Conference in York

The RMT and the TUC Action for Rail campaign will hold a day of action on Friday 7th March to keep the East Coast mainline rail service in the public sector.
It is intended that the major focus will be York station at 2pm (coinciding with delegates arriving at the Liberal Democrat Spring conference).
And it is hoped protests will also take place along the route during the morning rush hour (including at Edinburgh, Newcastle, Durham, Doncaster, Peterborough and Kings Cross stations) – details will be confirmed.
I am writing to ask for your help with the protests on Friday 7th March. If you are able to assist with organising, please contact Gabriel Barton in the Policy Department or your local office.
Yours sincerely,

Bob Crow
General Secretary
