RMT/ Action for Rail – Keep East Coast public - Day of action – 7 March
and protest at Liberal Democrat Spring Conference in York   UPDATE (including change of time)


This is a reminder that the RMT and the TUC Action for Rail campaign will hold a day of action on Friday 7th March to keep the East Coast mainline rail service in the public sector.
It is intended that the major focus will be York station between 1:20pm and 2pm (with media invited for 1:30pm). Please note the new time – designed to coincide with delegates arriving at the Liberal Democrat Spring conference.
And it has been agreed that protests will take place along the route during the morning rush hour at Edinburgh (time to be confirmed), Berwick (8 - 9am), Durham (8 – 9am), Newcastle (8 - 9am), Doncaster (7:30 – 9am), Peterborough (7:30 – 8:30am) and Kings Cross (time to be confirmed) stations. As further stations/ times are arranged, the details will be published on the Action for Rail website (http://actionforrail.org/).
