Dear Colleague,

 

RMT BLACK HISTORY MONTH EVENT – FRIDAY 17 OCTOBER 2025, LONDON

All RMT members are invited to the RMT Black and Ethnic Minority Members’ Advisory Committee (“B&EMMAC”) event for Black History Month – with a theme of “Standing in Pride and Power”.

Join us on Friday 17^th October 2025 (doors open 6pm) at the Rose Lipman Building, 43 De Beauvoir Road, London N1 5SF (nearest station Haggerston – Windrush Line) for an evening of discussion and reflection.  

We have an impressive panel of speakers:

• Diane Abbott MP
• John Leach Senior Assistant General Secretary
• Lee Williams, NEC
• Harj Singh, B&EMM Advisory Committee 
• Chris Hamblen, B&EMM Advisory Committee

 

The evening will be hosted by our B&EMMAC Secretary, Catia Efunsile, and the panel discussion Chair with be Walé Agunbiade, Chair of B&EMMAC.
