RMT Campaigns at SNP Spring Conference – Edinburgh, 27^th April

 

I write to alert you to the demonstration your union will be holding outside the SNP conference in Edinburgh next month, to highlight our concerns over the Scottish Government’s failed policies in the Transport and Offshore Energy sectors.

 

The details of the SNP Spring Conference demonstration are:

 

Saturday 27^th April from 09.15-10.15, Edinburgh International Conference Centre, 150 Morrison Street, EH3 8EE

 

A good turnout from members is imperative as RMT continue to press Scotland’s Government to protect our members’ jobs and to maintain and improve your terms and conditions of service. Banners and flags in support of current RMT campaigns, including Nationalise Northlink, Safer Scottish Trains, Public Ownership of ScotRail, SOS 2020, Fair Funding for Scotland’s Lifeline Ferry Services and End Social Dumping in the Offshore Energy Sector, will be available on the day. Attendance at this important event is a legitimate expense from Branch and Regional Council management funds with all reasonable expenses met. In circumstances where the Branch or Regional Council are unable to cover reasonable costs, Head Office will reimburse the individual.
