RMT EDUCATION BURSARY 2024.

 

I am proud to announce the RMT Education Bursary 2024 which will open for applications today, Friday 31^st May 2024. 

 

The RMT Education Bursary replaces previous RMT bursary schemes including the Seafarers Bursary which are now managed under one scheme, in line with a decision of the NEC.

 

The RMT Education Bursary scheme reflects the Union’s ongoing commitment to make educational opportunities more widely accessible to our members. Each year, up to twenty (20) RMT members will be granted financial support to undertake courses or training to develop their skills, knowledge, and abilities as trade unionists. 

 

Details of the Bursary scheme including the criteria and level of funding is attached to this email. The closing date for 2024 applications is Friday 29^th November 2024. 

 

Applicants should complete the attached application form in full and forward to the National Education Manager via email at (m.cudjoe@rmt.org.uk) or via post to the National Education Centre, 47-51 Thorne Road Doncaster, DN1 2EX.
