I am pleased to inform you that next year’s National Women’s Conference will take place at the Liner Hotel, Lord Nelson Street, Liverpool L3 5QB from Saturday 7th March (from noon) to Sunday 8th March 2026 (concluding by 4pm).

Branches and Regional Councils are entitled to nominate a maximum of four women delegates each. Nominations can be accepted via email from the branch email address and should be received by 30th January 2026.

The Liner Hotel has offered delegate B&B rates as follows: Friday £106.40, Saturday £135.40, Sunday £92.40, which can be booked by calling them t:0151 709 7050.  Delegates are not obliged to stay at the hotel for the purposes of the conference.

Branches and Regional Councils are also invited to submit motions for the agenda of the Conference which should be relevant to the concerns of women throughout the transport industry and must conform to union policy. All motions should be received at Unity House by 30th January 2026.  In addition to the above, invitations would be welcome from Branches and Regional Councils to host the 2027 Conference.

Branches and Regional Councils need to check with delegates that they are up to date with subscriptions and clarify with them what the Branch/Region can put towards their expenses before nominating. A £50 per delegate payment is made to Branches/Regions, up to a maximum of seven, i.e. £350 per Branch/Region per year, payable in respect of delegates to a Grades Conference or the RMT National Women’s, Young Members’, Health and Safety, Black and Ethnic Minority Members’, LGBT+ Members’ or Disabled Members’ Conference.
