RMT Young Members’ Advisory Conference 2021

I am writing to invite all our RMT Young Members (YM) to consider attending the 2021 Young Members Advisory Conference, and due to the current Covid-19 situation the Young Members Advisory Committee has decided the Conference will be held via Zoom.

The Conference is an opportunity to meet other RMT YM’s and discuss issues important to you. The Conference is planned, by the YM National Young Members Advisory Committee, to maximise the input and contribution of those YM’s attending with discussions on resolutions on YM issues, hear from senior Officers in the RMT, International guest speakers and leading political figures from the UK.

The 2021 YM Conference will take place via Zoom on Saturday 27th February 2021. Commencing at 10.00hrs and concluding no later than 17.00hrs.

Any costs and expenses of delegates must be met by the nominating branches.

Branches and Regional Councils are invited to nominate delegates to attend, conference delegates must be no older than 30 years of age at the start date of the conference.

Branches are invited to submit items for the agenda. The items must be relevant to young members in the union.

Agenda items must be received by the Friday 14th February 2021.

Nominations for delegates should be received by Friday 14th February 2021.
