Ron Todd Foundation  

RMT are affiliated nationally to the Ron Todd Foundation, a charity founded in memory of Ron Todd, General Secretary the Transport and General Workers Union from 1985 until 1992. The Ron Todd Foundation recognises that every issue is a trade union issue and it champions collectivism to prevent and provide relief of poverty and social injustice. It believes that bringing about change in the individual and wider community through education (outside of the classroom) is the back bone of growing the movement and ensuring that the fight for social justice is placed firmly in the heart of local communities.
