SAVE THE DATE – 14TH AUGUST – CUT FARES NOT STAFF DAY OF ACTION

Dear Colleagues,

The RPI figure announced in August will be used by the Government to calculate yet another rail fare hike from January 2020.

As with previous years, to campaign against ever increasing rail fares, job and service cuts across the network and to make the case for public ownership of rail, we will be organising a Cut Fares Not Staff day of action on Wednesday 14th August, the day the latest RPI figure is announced.

Please put the date in your diary and further details of how you can support the day of action in your area will be circulated soon.
