Scotland Rail Day of Action 4th January 2017

Dear Colleagues,

 

URGENT REMINDER 4th JANUARY SCOTTISH DAY OF ACTION 

 

Further to NP circular 282 in light of the fact that Scotland has a bank holiday on the 3rd January, RMT and Action for Rail will be organising the national day of action in Scotland on Wednesday 4th January 2017. The focus will be in support of public ownership, no extension of DOO, no ticket office closures, affordable fares and a safe, secure Scottish railway for all.

 

All branches in Scotland are asked to organise an action at a station near them and to use the opportunity to highlight all our concerns to passengers and the media.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DEADLINE FOR LETTING US KNOW WHICH STATIONs, ORDERING ACTION CARDS TO HAND OUT AND CONFIRMING ALL DETAILS (TIME, MEETING PLACE) IS FRIDAY 9th DECEMBER 2016.
