Dear Colleague,

Scotland’s RMT Women’s Group - Organising and Training Weekend 18-20 October 2019  

The Scotland's RMT Women's Group are hosting a 2 day, 2 night meeting in Inverness from 18th - 20th October 2019 with a focus on organising and training through the union.  Head Office and the Regional Council in Scotland are supporting this event and Branches are invited to nominate women members to attend.  

The event will take place in Fairways Golf Club, Inverness, with a full agenda including sessions for better mental and physical health particularly in our workplaces and a dinner on the Saturday night.  Accommodation has been reserved in the Travelodge (Fairways) next door (a 2-minute walk on a flat tarmac surface), in which we have secured 10 rooms, all of which have 2 person occupancy and an accessible room.  

As this is the first Scottish women’s weekend the organisers really want to make it a success and I do strongly urge your Branch to send at least one representative. 

If you prefer your member is guaranteed an accessible or single occupancy room, we would ask that the branch helps with the extra costs by booking this directly.
