SOS 2020 Condor Ferries demonstration, Portsmouth 30th November
Further to circular no. NP/001/19 of 4th January 2019, your Union’s SOS 2020 campaign is again targeting rogue operator Condor Ferries for public action to highlight this company’s exploitative and anti-trade union business model.
We will mobilise to target Condor’s morning sailings on
Saturday 30th November at 0730 for a demonstration from 8am at Portsmouth International Port, George Byng Way, Portsmouth PO2 8SP
Your ongoing support for the SOS 2020 campaign is appreciated and you are strongly encouraged to join another good turnout from RMT members and activists from across the country in the fight for seafarer jobs on Condor Ferries on terms and conditions agreed with RMT through the collective bargaining process.
SOS 2020 campaign paraphernalia is available at Regional Offices, including Wessex and leaflets targeting Condor will be available on the day. The cost of attending Condor Ferries demonstrations, including accommodation are a legitimate form of Branch expenditure.
I would be grateful if you could bring the contents of this circular to the attention of members in your branch and you will be kept updated with all further developments.
