Stations and catering grades regional sub-committees

Dear Colleague,

As you will be aware, Staff our Stations and catering grades campaign meetings have now taken place in every region. At these campaign meetings, and in line with recent NEC decisions, each regional council was asked to establish regional Staff our Stations and catering grades sub-committees, with the purpose of developing the campaigns in every region and to support the recruitment and organising of station and catering grades in each region.

Furthermore, each regional council is asked to nominate a member of each sub-committee to sit on national campaign groups for station and catering grades to develop the campaigns and help replicate and build on successes around the UK.

Therefore, I would be grateful if you could advise of the following:

If your Regional Council has formed stations and catering grades sub-committees, and who has been elected to sit on the sub-committees.
Details of any sub-committee meetings that have taken place and/or are scheduled and any actions arising from these meetings.
Who has been nominated from your Regional Council to sit on the national stations and catering campaign groups.

I would be grateful if you could provide the above information to Steve Hedley (s.hedley@rmt.org.uk) and Sophie Ward (s.ward@rmt.org.uk) at the earliest opportunity.

I note that a small number of regional councils do not have catering grades members in their region and therefore will not be in the position to take the catering campaign forward in these areas.
