Ticket Office Presentation from 2024 Stations NIOC 

 

Dear Colleague, 

 

At this year’s Stations & Associated Grades National Industrial Organising Conference there was a session on the RMT’s successful ticket office campaign, lessons learnt from this and next steps. 

 

As was discussed at the Conference, whilst the Union’s campaign was successful in fighting off the proposed closure of nearly all ticket offices, threats to stations and ticket offices remain, and we must remain vigilant against attempts by companies to make cuts by stealth. The Union will be continuing its Staff our Stations campaigning to make the case for why station staffing and ticket offices must be protected and expanded. 

 

There was a request from delegates at the conference for the presentation slides to be shared with branches, and these are attached.
