Dear Colleagues,

TUC Survey - Treatment of black workers since the Covid-19 lockdowns

In June 2020, the TUC carried out a survey with Black workers about how their employers treated them during the Covid 19 pandemic lockdown. The TUC published their findings, the Dying on the Job report, which highlighted how institutional racism affected the health, safety and welfare of Black workers during the pandemic.

The TUC now want to hear from Black workers about what has happened since the end of the pandemic lockdowns.  They are particularly keen to hear whether their employer has taken additional action to protect their health, safety and well-being, whether their jobs and working conditions have improved or worsened, and whether they have taken action to tackle institutional racism exposed by the pandemic.

The link to the survey is here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ZDJ8CCJ

It closes on 19 March. Please send any questions on this survey to skaur@tuc.org.uk.

Yours sincerely
