Dear Colleagues,

New Inflation Rates

The Office for National Statistics has published inflation figures for the twelve months to January 2016.

The Retail Prices Index (RPI) stood at 1.3% for the year to January 2016, up 0.1% on the figure for the year to December 2015.

The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) rose to 0.3% for the year to January 2016, up 0.1% on the figure for the year to December 2015.

I would be grateful if you could bring this Circular to the attention of all Branch members and further information will follow in the Pay Bulletin presently.
