The struggle for women’s rights has always been at the forefront of progressive social change. And RMT is committed to placing the demands of women members at the top of its agenda.

Despite the dramatic advances of recent decades, women continue to lag behind in terms of pay and equality with men in the workplace. RMT fights to close the gender gap within the industries where it is organised and in the wider world at large.
