Online IT Courses

Dear Colleagues


To assist Workplace Reps, Officials, and Officers an online IT Course is available in 2021. The course will be delivered via Zoom.

The course information is as follows;

5th January 2021 – Introduction to Computers
7th January 2021 – Introduction to Windows 10
19th January 2021- Introduction to Word
20th January 2021 – Introduction to Word/Excel
21st January 2021 – Introduction to Excel
26th January 2021- Introduction to PowerPoint
27th January 2021- Introduction to Internet
28th January 2021 – Introduction to Outlook
29th January 2021 – Support session for Level 1 IT training

The course in the same format will also be available on the following days, February 2021 2nd, 4th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th.

Each day of the course will commence online at 09.30hrs and finish no later than 13.00hrs on each day.

Those applying are welcome to complete all sessions but is also designed to enable applicants to join the course for specific sessions that they specifically want help with.

Those applying should have access to a laptop / computer, good internet and Microsoft Office 2016 or Microsoft 2016 versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer (or Microsoft Edge) and Outlook. If you don’t have access to these versions then include that information in your emailed application, and options can be discussed.

Members of staff wishing to apply should discuss the matter with their line manager prior to applying.
