RMT LEARNING – ‘LETS KEEP TALKING’
RMT Learning until recently was working with the Psychological Therapies Unit to develop courses around a number of health issues and social model approaches to these. This work has been temporarily postponed but the Unit, which is nationally based is offering a free initiative ‘Let’s Keep Talking’ to our members & Staff nationally to support members and staff in this difficult period.
‘Let’s keep talking’ is a totally free, confidential service from the Psychological Therapies Unit to make a small contribution to help others keep mentally active and connected during the current situation. The simple act of talking on a regular basis to anyone who is feeling isolated and may be lonely, frustrated or scared by their current situation, can make a huge difference to their health and well-being. The Unit has trained volunteers based across the country that are able to deliver this support service.
If this feels like something that you or someone you know may benefit from, please see the attached flyer which gives you details of what the service is, the frequency and how to access the service. The following link will take you to a very short video explaining the service https://youtu.be/i0__m5vvSFU
