ALL INDUSTRIAL ACTION SUSPENDED

MEMBERS INSTRUCTED TO BOOK ON NORMALLY FOR ALL SHIFTS COMMENCING FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT

Dear Colleague,

ROSTERING, TRAIN MANAGERS, EUROSTAR

Following further discussions with the company Eurostar have submitted a new proposal which has been put to your union representatives for their consideration at a meeting today. Having consulted your reps we believe the company’s proposals could be the basis for achieving an agreement but this will need to be explored further in talks. To allow further discussions we have decided to suspend all industrial action in this dispute.

Members are therefore instructed to book on normally for all shifts from midnight tonight (00.01 Hours Saturday 13th August 2016)

I would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate you and your colleagues for your strength and determination which has brought about this positive development. Talks will begin shortly and we hope this can be the basis of a satisfactory resolution to this dispute.

I will endeavour to keep members fully informed as matters progress.
