Action called off as RMT reaches agreement with Serco and Carlisle on DLR

RMT General Secretary Bob Crow said
“Following the receipt of improved offers on pay and across range of other issues, RMT’s executive has now been able to consider the details of the proposals from Serco and Carlisle and as a result the decision making body of the union has agreed to suspend the planned industrial action on Serco/Docklands Light Railway and Carlisle cleaners and security that was due to commence tomorrow.
“The union congratulates our members across the Docklands Light Railway whose solidarity and determination has enabled them to secure important victories on pay, conditions and workplace justice.”
