East Midlands Railways staff united again today in fight for workplace justice and safety.
RAIL UNION RMT said that East Midlands Railways staff are standing united and determined again today in their on-going fights for workplace justice and safety.
RMT General Secretary Mick Lynch said;
“The determination of our members in the fight for workplace safety and justice on EMR stands in stark contrast to the company’s pig-headed refusal to engage with us in talks aimed at bringing these long-running disputes to a conclusion.
"East Midlands Railways seem quite happy to throw huge sums of money at their high-risk strike breaking operations while making no effort whatsoever to reach a settlement with their staff through their trade union.
"It's time for the company to get out of the bunker and get back around the table. "
